The second session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment (INC-2) will take place from 29 May to 2 June 2023 at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Headquarters in Paris, France. The meeting will be preceded by regional consultations on 28 May 2023, at the same venue.The UN Global Compact Network Russia has received the UNEP quota for participation in INC-2 as a group of observers. The delegation of the Global Compact National Network participates in the Plenary Session and side events of INC-2 in person.
