From October 14 to 18, the World Food Forum 2024 (also known as the World Food Forum – WFF) was taking place at the FAO Headquarters in Rome and online.
Theme of the Forum: "Healthy Diets for All: Today and Tomorrow."
The Forum focuses on the development of sustainable and inclusive agri-food systems to tackle global challenges such as climate change, population growth, and hunger.
Key Topics:
- Promoting healthy nutrition and biodiversity conservation,
- Reducing the environmental impact of agriculture,
- Innovative solutions and investments in rural areas,
- Inclusive policies for food security and waste reduction.
A special focus was placed on engaging youth and women in transforming agri-food systems and driving sustainable development.

- World Food Day Celebration – October 16
- Additional events dedicated to transforming global food systems to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by 2030.
