Bio
Prior to joining En+ Group, Anton Butmanov worked at UC RUSAL for 9 years, dealing with regional development, climate strategy and environmental protection. In 2006 he graduated from the Perm branch of the State University - Higher School of Economics, Management Department, in 2008 he completed his Masters studies in Public Administration at the same university in Moscow. He currently holds the position of Director for Sustainable Development, and heads the Sustainability Directorate of En + Group, which aims to align corporate processes in accordance with the UN Global Agenda and the key state development priorities, ensure rational environmental management, as well as minimizing environmental and climatic risks at all stages of production processes.
The Group's approach to Sustainable Development and the UN SDGs can be covered by the overarching SDG 17. The Group develops partnerships and initiatives at various levels with the aim of joining forces to achieve the objectives of the entire Global Sustainability Agenda.
