The report is an annual report prepared jointly by FAO, IFAD, UNICEF, WFP, WHO to report on progress towards eradicating hunger, ensuring food security and improving nutrition, as well as providing an in-depth analysis of the main challenges in achieving this goal in the context of the Sustainable Development Agenda development for the period up to 2030. The document is intended for a broad audience including policy makers, international organizations, the private sector, academic institutions and NGOs.
