102

On September 14, 2022, Association «National Network of the Global Compact» together with the Association of Indigenous Minorities of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation, organized a Triune Dialogue dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, which will be attended by representatives of indigenous peoples, government agencies and business.

The Declaration was adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on 13 September 2007 and proclaimed as a benchmark to be followed in a spirit of partnership and mutual respect in the implementation of the rights of indigenous peoples. Responsible interaction between the state and business in taking into account the rights of indigenous peoples, preserving, developing and promoting their intangible cultural heritage is one of the areas in the Sustainable Development Agenda, both in general and at the national level, taking into account the Principles of the UN Global Compact and 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The event will take place at the Treasures of the North exhibition site.
