Industrial companies make a significant contribution to socio-economic growth and was responsible for the state of the environment. At the same time, their resource potential and corporate policies can be a positive factor in the sustainable development of indigenous peoples, as well as the territories of their traditional residence.
To do this, government agencies and participants in international cooperation should promote the formation of partnership in this area. The relevant tasks are reflected in national strategic planning documents and are the subject of growing public attention.
The Forum will address issues of promoting the standards of corporate business policy in relation to indigenous peoples, the practice of public-private partnership in the field of their sustainable development, as well as the effective participation of indigenous peoples in solving these tasks.
